Community Connectors are the people and organizations connected through the Protect the Collective Unity Mission.

The goal is simple: make it easier for communities to find the people, resources, knowledge, and opportunities that already exist—and create new connections where they can help.

You don't have to agree on everything to work together on something.

What Does Being a Community Connector Mean?

Being a Community Connector means staying open to connection.

You may:

Share resources or opportunities
Let others know about services, programs, events, expertise, volunteer opportunities, or resources you provide.

Tell us what you need
Help PTC identify organizations or people who may be able to assist.

Make connections
Meet other Community Connectors working in your community or field.

Collaborate when it makes sense
Choose to participate in projects, events, research, education, or other opportunities that align with your work.

There is no required level of participation.

What You Are NOT Agreeing To

Becoming a Community Connector does not mean:

endorsing Protect the Collective;
endorsing other Community Connectors;
supporting every PTC position or project;
donating money or resources;
changing your organization's mission;
entering a partnership with every participant; or
committing to future activities.

Connection creates opportunity—not obligation.

Every collaboration is voluntary.

Your Independence Matters

Community Connectors remain independent.

Protect the Collective does not control participating organizations or individuals, and Community Connectors do not control Protect the Collective.

Participation in a specific project, public statement, advocacy initiative, or other activity requires a separate decision to participate.

Nothing is automatically endorsed. Nothing is automatically joined.
